Demetrius Demon Thomas, 31, of 3372 Wyatt Farm Road, Axton, VA died Friday, August 10, 2012 of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. Born August 26, 1980, in Danville, VA, he was the son of Donald Lewis Thomas and Felicia Myers Thomas, who survives.
In addition to his parents, survivors include two sons Isiah Thomas of Axton, VA and Demetrius Thomas, Jr. of Danville, VA; one sister, Aelicia Thomas of Axton, VA; two brothers, Shoen Thomas and Donald Thomas (Javita), both of Danville, VA; his girlfriend, Carlita Hairston of Danville, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home with Apostle Jerome Dumas officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Thomas family.
